The International School of J. H. Newman is a Catholic, co-educational school with government- staged in Early Childhood Education (ages 3-6), Primary Education and Compulsory Secondary Education. It also offers privately funded Baccalaureate programs in the branches of Arts, Science and Technology and Humanities and Social Sciences .
The school enjoys full academic authority and autonomy to set optional subjects, adopt programs to the characteristics of the environment in which it is embedded, organize both curricular and extracurricular cultural activities and complementary services.

IDEOLOGY OF THE CENTRE
The educational and pedagogical project at International J. H. Newman has as its mission to encourage growth in the person in all their dimensions:
Rational: to reach the truth, one must learn to speak well and reason clearly.
Affective: freedom is drawn toward what is good and beautiful—this is the path to discovering what is true.
Through a real critical attitude: a method for judging and evaluating reality.
J.H. Newman International School is a school that opens the world to every member of the educational community so that they may:

INTERNATIONAL HORIZON
We opted for the use of new communication and computer technologies to create a ´virtual’ international educational community that allows partners to stay in close contact throughout the course. We already have agreements with centres in Ireland, the United States, Italy, Portugal, Chile, Colombia and Argentina. Below are some of the initiatives that reflect this international dimension:
The active promotion of language learning: primarily Spanish, English, and Italian.
Participation in the European programmes, Schoolnet and Comenius.
Collaboration between partner schools in the creation and sharing of lessons, educational content and tools, in addition to the exchange of both students and educators during the school term and holiday periods.
Creation of seminars, courses and conferences ‘on-line’.
ACCOMMODATING MOTOR NEEDS
J.H. Newman International School is a centre recognised by the Community of Madrid as a school that integrates students with motor disabilities. These students are supported by assistants who accompany them and help ensure they can fully participate in daily school life alongside their peers. All facilities are adapted to them, without architectural barriers and with access to all of the spaces.
